Recruiter: As a recruiter, I am the first point of contact for potential employees. I screen applications to fill our RBT and BT positions. I determine if applicants are good candidates to hire and once I hire them, I send them their onboarding paperwork for them to get started on and make sure they are prepared to attend orientation.

3. What are the most rewarding parts of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is connecting with potential BT hires who are passionate about helping our clients. It’s especially fulfilling when I speak with people who are excited to start a new career path in ABA therapy and are eager to make a positive impact.
4. What advice would you give to someone looking to pursue a role like yours? Are there specific character traits or skills/certifications they should possess?
For someone looking to get into a recruiting role, I would say being communicative, flexible, and patient are all important character traits to have for this role. Recruiting involves building strong relationships, so being able to communicate effectively with candidates is key. Flexibility allows you to adapt to ever-changing needs, and patience is essential for guiding candidates through the hiring process while managing expectations on both sides.
