What is your title? Describe what you do.

I’m an intake coordinator! I specifically assist with the intake process, scheduling, and lots in between for families looking to set up services with us. I mainly handle all our NC clinics for ABA services, Pathways for both NC clinics & Charlotte/Cary, and the occasional home-based clients as well.

“When working with families, I focus on clear and honest communication while taking the time to listen and understand each family’s unique situation.”

Which one of our values guides you most at work?

Out of Behavioral Framework’s values, my working style is very transparent but also empathetic. When working with families I try to be clear & honest with my communication while still taking the time to listen & understand each family’s individual situation. While we might see this every single day, this is a first-time situation for most families who have no idea what to expect.

What’s your favorite way to collaborate with co-workers?

My favorite way to collaborate with coworkers varies! Whether it’s an in-person conversation, quick Google chat, a Zoom call, etc., I’m able to maintain great relationships with coworkers in the same office as me, across the state, or even multiple states away!

What advice would you give to someone who might be interested in your field?

My advice to someone interested in this field is to take pride in your work. Knowing that tasks & processes that you do on a routine basis have a much larger impact on the families you assist. You are hopefully providing a positive preview of the services to come.

What are your talents/hobbies?

I wouldn’t say I have an overly unique talents/hobbies, but I enjoy running as I’m training for my next marathon later this fall. I love trying new restaurants, traveling (I’ve been to 44 out of the 50 states), & anything sports related. All in all, I love booking my social calendar to the brim!
