I started with BCPS as the front desk receptionist in Clemmons before transitioning to this new role in January 2025. I stayed with BCPS now Behavioral Framework because I love my job and my coworkers as well as the clients we serve.
3. What’s your favorite memory or team moment so far?
My favorite memory was being able to be a part of and watch the High Point Clinic open and grow this past year. Also watching how much our 1st few clients grew and changed so much just in this year alone.
4. What’s the most impactful part of your work for you personally?
The most impactful part of my job is to make sure the clients we serve have staff with them every day. Doing everything I can to not cancel or end their days early. I know how much they need the services we provide so I strive to make sure they are not missing out on that.
5. What preparation or mindset is most helpful for someone starting this job?
Keep in mind that you will be incredibly busy. The mornings will be hard and stressful but you need to breathe and work through it. Use all of your resources and do not feel bad when you need to ask for help.
6. Would you advise someone to pursue a job at Behavioral Framework?
Yes, I would absolutely recommend working here. I actually have told people who have expressed interest. I love what we do for our clients and I want to make sure they are receiving quality care. I think they would get so much gratification in their job especially when our clients hit their goals. I have worked in this field in the past and it is extremely rewarding, that in of itself is worth it.
