What drew you to Behavioral Framework?
After spending many years in Colorado, I decided it was time to move “home” again. I came across Behavioral Framework by accident but was immediately drawn to the organization as their website echoed my personal ideals. When I interviewed with the CCO, I knew it was where I wanted to be. I have truly found my home at Behavioral Framework with the wonderful leadership and dedicated employees who share my passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
What are the most rewarding parts of your job?
I am able to witness the positive impact of a team of dedicated caregivers, administrative staff, BTs, RBTs, BCBAs, and ACDs. When I started on this journey, my goal was to make a difference in the life of one child. Today, I am one of hundreds of people coming together to make a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of children and families in the DC metro area.
What advice would you give to someone looking to pursue a role like yours? Are there specific character traits or skills/certifications they should possess?
As the Director of Clinical Quality, my role is multifaceted. First and foremost, my position is about clinical quality. It is essential to have a strong foundation in ABA (BCBA certification), a thorough understanding of child development (significant studies and experience with children), and sound clinical judgement as daily decisions can significantly influence client outcomes. The ability to analyze individual client data as well as company-wide data is crucial to inform individual treatment and organizational procedures. As a manager, it is imperative to be able to recognize the skills of others and effectively delegate tasks, communicate professionally, and ensure all deadlines are met. As a trainer, the ability to effectively teach and motivate others is important.
What do you like best about Behavioral Framework?
I love working with people who are as passionate as I am about making a positive difference in the lives of others. The company culture is truly the best I have encountered in my professional career. Everyone has a place on the team and each person’s contributions are valued and recognized.
Would you recommend someone to work at Behavioral Framework? And why?
Unquestionably! Behavioral Framework has by far, the best company culture and core values I have encountered in my professional career. The opportunities for growth, collaboration, and support are abundant and our dedication to quality is hard to find.
